Who Is Tab Trade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

Tab Trade - The Short Version

TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is broad.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders find it more natural once they try it.

FIX API is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would round things out when it lands.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. $0 to start. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

The speed is the thing this broker actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? If you scalp, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.

Combine that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

This is the detail that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your assessment.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
